Isn't Ironic?

Summit has an appointment at 7am tomorrow to get spayed. We have been waiting to get this taken care of for sometime. Well...

As of today she's in heat!! Great...Just Great!

Now we have to wait until February.

I was asking about that today with my doctors. That's weird. Maybe I jinx you guys?!

Not to gross you out or make you think I was looking at your dog's crotch....but the reason I asked the drs. at work, is because I thought her vulva looked huge when we were over last sat. I was asking them if it was possible that she could have or was starting to go into heat due to her age. They certainly thought it was possible (some dogs are so good about cleaning themselves that you would never know.) But now we do!

Cross your fingers, but so far Summit has done a great job of cleaning herself. We've only found a few blood drops (smaller than a dime).

We booked February because the Dr. said she has to go through her whole cycle. I think you did jinx us, Aimee. ;)Hahahaha.

We noticed her 'private' getting bigger as well. We didn't know any better, and didn't think she would go into heat this soon.

Oh well, what can you do.

Our house is now covered with blankets and towels. We'll see how bad she gets or what happens.
