Busy Weekend

Friday
I joined some old friends at Osaka in Apple Valley for dinner. The place looks like a dive on the outside, but it's really a neat atmosphere inside. We sat at a huge table with a grill in the middle...the chef cooks the food right in front of you. (I love places like this!) It was a little pricey but not too bad considering the amount of food you get.
We all headed to a near by bar to have some more drinks and great conversation. I had so much fun reminiscing with the girls. I went to grade school with Kayleen but met the rest of the girls in middle school. Katie, Suzy, Michelle and Kelly were just some of my first 'public school' friends. I was able to reconnect with some of them when we had our ten year class reunion in November. Friday night we all got together because Kayleen was in town. It was so much fun!! It was nice to catch up with everyone and tell lots of stories of our past.

Saturday
I slept in...it was great! Corey spent the morning at work and I decided to tackle the bathrooms. They needed a good scrub down. I hate cleaning bathrooms...but it's so nice when they're clean.
After dinner Corey and I headed out to the VFW in town for some drinks with my family. My Uncle Matt and Aunt Peggy invited us to spend some time with them...and I do recall last time I spent time with them at the VFW I drank too much. Well, this time was no different. My mom and Natalie joined us, along with Corey's brother Nick. I think Natalie and I were having a little too much fun! After some drinks, shots and some dancing I was ready to go home. I didn't quite hold my liquor last night and I'm paying for it today. ;)

Sunday
Corey and I were able to finish clear coating the rest of our kitchen doors. (The weather was FINALLY NICE today.)
We had a BBQ with my in-laws and showed them the progress on the kitchen. Corey's hanging the doors (as I'm typing this), we need to rehang the light above the kitchen sink, clear coat the edge of the counter top and put trim along the bottom of the cabinets. We're near completion!!
