DISH Network

So...after 4 years, we FINALLY broke down and ordered dish. We had it installed today. Nothing too fancy, but something to give us more channels and a clear picture. Yes, we have been watching fuzzy TV and crossing our fingers that channels 5 and 9 will come in when the sun sets so we can watch our shows.

I guess we're trying to catch up with technology. I was simply amazed at all of the options dish offers. We chose dish vs. cable because we can only get Mediacom where we live and we weren't impressed with seeing their vehicles on our street often and listening to the neighbors say, "the cable went out again."

Of course I'm immediately frustrated with the new remote control and therefore have not watched much TV today. Instead I've been cleaning all of the dust off of everything in the house from our latest home improvement job (see Corey's blog...http://coreybrower.blogspot.com/) and listening to Corey "Ooooo" and "Ahhhh" over all of the shows we've been missing out on the last four years.

Now I can only hope we don't turn into couch potatoes. ;)
