Summit Update

On Thursday, February 7th we took Summit to the vet to get spayed. For those of you who don't know the 'whole' story...We had a spay appointment scheduled for November right after Thanksgiving. And 24 hours before the appointment she went into heat. GREAT! We then had to let her 'go through her cycle' and were able to get her fixed in February.
The whole (2-3 week) heat cycle wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Fortunately it's over...for good.

Corey and I have been taking our turns at monitoring her and making sure she lays low and doesn't rip a stitch. On Thursday the 21st she'll have her sutures removed and we can move on to being normal again. Yea!

She's been doing well and wants to play catch really bad. We're planning on taking her for an long, outside play date after she's healed.

sounds like she's doing pretty good.
If you want, let's plan an outside date after she's healed, at the dog park out by UMore park.
